You’re looking for the right fit…

You have been interested in psychotherapy, but it’s difficult for you to come in for sessions. Whether you’re traveling for work, have a busy schedule, or are physically unable to get to therapy, we’re here to meet you where you are at. We’re here to provide some education and tips on making your online therapy experience beneficial to you.

Who is online therapy good for?

  • Those who live in rural areas where there are little options for therapy or the specialty you need.

  • Those with physical limitations who would have trouble accessing traditional face-to-face therapy.

  • Those who travel frequently for work and might not be able to attend in-person therapy regularly.

Is it confidential?

At Boketto Center, we use a HIPAA complaint and encrypted webcam for online sessions. This is to protect your privacy. If you’re hoping to do online counseling and do not have a private and confidential space where you can meet with your therapist, tele-therapy might not be the best fit for you.

Is it covered by insurance?

Every insurance plan has different rules and regulations regarding tele-therapy. To better understand your insurance policy, call the member line on the back of your insurance card to make sure your insurance covers online counseling sessions.

How can I make the best out of my online therapy sessions?

  1. Have a confidential and private space for your therapy sessions that are free from distraction.

  2. Make sure your computer’s camera and audio work well. We can send you a link with a test to make sure you have a good connection.

  3. Make sure your internet will support streaming and online video.

Is online therapy appropriate for me?

To see if online therapy is right for you, we recommend doing a free 15-minute phone consultation with one of our therapists. They will be able to provide professional advice specific to your needs.
