Audrey Armitage-Gaegauf, LMSW-Clinical

Trauma Psychotherapist & EMDR Practitioner

Trauma can leave a lasting imprint—emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. If you're carrying the weight of painful experiences, know that healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it on your own. My role is to walk alongside you as you begin to tap into your innate wisdom and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way.

I specialize in trauma therapy that honors the unique pace and needs of each individual. I recognize that healing isn’t linear—it’s a deeply personal process with ups and downs that unfolds over time. We will use a holistic approach that honors you as a whole person and is inclusive and nonjudgmental. Working together, with compassion and curiosity, we will create a space where you can explore the impact of your past and help you move from surviving to thriving.

What guides my work is a belief that true healing involves more than talking about what happened—it involves nurturing safety, listening to body and spirit, and restoring a sense of inner balance. I use a variety of trauma-informed approaches and integrate somatic and mindfulness-based techniques to support you in regulating your nervous system, processing unresolved emotions, and gradually building trust in yourself again.

In our work together, you can expect a warm, grounded presence and a therapeutic relationship built on compassion, respect, and collaboration. Whether you're just beginning to explore your healing journey or returning to therapy after time away, I’m here to support you as you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and connection.

You deserve a life that feels grounded, whole, and yours again—and I’m here to help you move toward it, one step at a time.
